FullStack Engineer Density Labs

In my short time in Density Labs my job has been to code software solutions for React apps in the frontend and NodeJS in the backend.

Software Engineer Digitt

Digitt is a fin-tech company, focused into credit card debt refinancing. My main job here is help with solutions to scale operations. We coded our own back-office to calculate and manage our loans. I coded micro-services using gRPC as communication protocol, and docker to package our applications. I also made use of Test Driven Development to improve the quality of the software.

The main challenges I found here were:

• How a small team of 14 persons can scale and manage more than 1000 active customers.
• Design extensible software that should adapt to business rules that change fast.
• Design high quality software for critic tasks like interests calculation and payments for loans.

Software Developer Intern Skycatch

Skycatch is a data collection and analytics company, focused on indexing and extracting critical information from the physical world. They use a combination of hardware, software, and artificial intelligence to deliver high precision data at unprecedented speed and ease of use. I worked there coding really different types of applications: tooling for support team, IoT, task automation and frontend development.

• EDGE1: This is data processing device with in constructions sites and mines. I worked creating script for linux, docker containers and syncing files with cloud using SSH and FTP. Also coded and proposed many UI/UX improvements for the frontend application made on React and Vanilla CSS.
• Skycatch Viewer: Application to visualize Skycatch maps. I worked mainly in performance and UI improvements. I learned how to deal with legacy code, app was developed with AngularJS and a set of old libraries.

React-Native Developer Vita (as freelanceer)

I made a rewards system over React-Native and NodeJS. The backend stack was made with Koa + MongoDB, and the frontend over React-Native with Redux and Axios. Deploy system with Git Hooks + Shell + Docker in a Linux server hosted on Digital Ocean. Also configured NGINX with SSL auto renewal.

Keet

My first job. Developed projects for National Commission of Science (CONACYT). The projects were focused in IoT using NodeJS and Python. The project involved the use of many sensors: Luminosity, temperature, humidity, proximity, magnets and even cameras in a Raspberry PI.
